Hi, we are Hannah and Chris, a semi nomadic (the press calls us flex-pats!) couple who work together, travel together and generally try to do as many fun things as possible to stay married. All good so far!

It’s incredible how many opportunities there are to create interesting ways of earning a living so you can have all the freedom you want. We use ours to be ‘location independent’, to travel where and when we like, running our businesses as we go. We’ve got it down to a fine art! We have a community of people taking the first steps towards being ‘location independent’, learning how to travel affordably, how to create a sustainable ‘remote’ business, what technology to use and how to include important relationships in your new way of life.

    Chris and Hannah
    So how did we get here? We started our business to escape that horrible Sunday evening feeling, you know the one where you don’t want the weekend to finish and dreading the Monday am alarm. One step at a time we started our business from our living room (which was also our bedroom and kitchen as it happens). We weren't always clear how we would do it but if we could somehow combine my skills as a psychologist with Chris’ technical geekery then maybe we could earn enough to be independent. And if we could be financially independent, then being location independent was just the next logical step. Living in one place can be very over-rated.

    Five years later we have visited over 30 countries (so that’s where all our money goes!), grown four businesses and always made more money than we expected. We’re not special- we’re just annoyingly persistent with a dangerous aversion to accepting limitations. We set up LovePlayWork.com because so many people told us they wanted to know HOW; they wanted the behind the scenes, get your hands dirty, breathtakingly beautiful and awesomely possible details.
